BIOMUTANT

The art for the game is quite beautiful, unfortunately that is where the pros end for me. I just could not get into this game. Both the combat and the actual dialogue/role play aspects fell flat. The constant narration is disruptive and feels disconnected from the game, like it's just some guy constantly pulling out out of any immersion to give you a whole bunch of exposition rather than just relying on dialogue between characters and story development to let you immerse yourself and uncover more of the story. The combat also feels jilted and not well thought out. If one element or the other was still good while the other fell flat, I would be able to recommend it. But both just miss the mark here.

So to begin with, it wasn't what i expected, thought there'd be more focus on mutations but it turns out it was a wuxia, which is fine, but im already taking away points for the ads i've seen painting it as one with slapdash gear and a major focus on mutating with purpose, seeming like a lone wolf type ♥♥♥♥ as i go somewhere new because im a drifter type ♥♥♥♥. Within an hour i open it up i am, apparently, the long lost son of the former greatest warrior in the valley who ran a sect that had formerly unified and was training the greatest warriors of the next generation, and all of it destroyed by a rogue cultivator who just runs around breaking ♥♥♥♥ and killing people, the devil. Cut to further in I gotta fight the other sects to unify the world map under 1 banner, so i start with various outposts where i am told, "Try to kill as few as possible, we gotta live with these people later when we take over" ... except i can't do that, for example, i am at the jangui or whatever's base and i'm reminded, "Hurt as few as possible while you find their sifu" so when i get inside i try to skip [beat up these 5 guys] and run around the map of this battle, doing 3 laps it's clear i HAVE TO …

One of the best games ever 10/10 The world building and the overall look is amazing. Sadly it got a bit rushed but i so much wish there was a second game in this series.

If you want a simple answer... Yes. I would suggest anyone to try out this game If you want a thorough summary of this game, this upcoming paragraph is for you lol '^ ^ Biomutant is a good game, if you are looking to spend your time battling, roaming around, doing multiple side quests, and my personal favorite making weapons/upgrading clothing... then this game is for you. The scenery of each location is beautiful and vast... and you would tend to roam around the world. The in-game fighting mechanics are in my opinion very enjoyable, as if your looking to be a person whom holds a big-ass sword or a person whom has a whole stash of guns... let me tell you your gonna have a fun time! That's not including the fact how you could do unique combos with each weapon/gun. Then, added upon that there are biogenetic and yin/yang like powers, that also are interesting to use (however some might be horrible to use during an actual fight). There are a multitude of positive things I could rant on bout this game, however there are some personal disagreements I have with this game.
