They came from deep space, huge machines with an uncanny resemblance to the toys and sci fi robots of the 50s. Their saucers orbit the Earth, ready to destroy all humanity with an array of deadly super weapons. Now you must destroy their super weapons before they charge up and annihilate the Earth.

It's Necro Mutex reskinned into a friendlier version. I liked Necro Mutex but this one not so much. Priced a little high as well, buy the first one if you're going to get one of these. Can't see bundle price as own both games but you only need one of these. Video gameplay; https://youtu.be/-Ma5xE5-9Wg?t=155 Honestly should be priced under $15 AUD maybe $9.95 with $15 option for both.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/TmbyM83o5mM So this is a tough game to review for me personally. I'm not sure how to handle a re-skinned version of another game. Part of me just wants to leave a negative review because I'm not sure it's a good thing for a developer to charge money for a new game that's essentially just a re-skin. On the other hand, that really doesn't help anyone out who may be interested in buying this game on its own merit. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up the other game by this developer: Necro Mutex. I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. If you saw my video for that game and then see my video for this game: you'll see that they basically look the same except one has robots and the other one has zombies / mutants. And after playing both, I didn't really notice any differences. I think this one gets more difficult earlier than Necro Mutex, but it has the same guns, the same looking levels, even the same music. Anyways, this is a FPS ar…

I love the graphics and hectic game play. The robot design is a brilliant homage to old school sci-fi. The environments are a fluro techno treat as is the sound and music. It’s a simple shooter but can be hard at first, so make sure you are upgrading as it can be impossible without it. It’s like a 3D Robotron 2084 or Bezerk, I was half expecting evil otto to come bouncing after me. Fight Like a Robot!!!

Pro : It's a blast, specially in VR mode. You can select your VR speed (from crawling to too fast for your own good), surround yourself with a small VR wall with the height of your choice (knee high ? ), and the positional audio and thumbstick weapon selection work better then in 2D with a mouse/keyboard. Graphics are less confusing in VR too, due to being life sized. Con : The upgrade costs seem out of whack. Up to Plasmagun (4th weapon, maxed around 0.5 million$) it's fine, but good luck maxing out the Minigun (at 5,000 million$). I'll spare you the cost of maxing the next weapons, but the total upgrade cost is almost 1 septillion$ (that's 24 zeroes). I'm guessing a lifetime of grinding without sleep won't get you anywhere near that.
