ITORAH is a 2d platformer about a girl with an axe to grind. Beat it in 8.2 hours using a game controller. Difficulty is Medium. Good game for older kids. Trigger Warning: Spiders. Story: Girl dungeon delves in an Aztec land of furries with a magically talking axe. Gameplay: Pretty standard controls. R trigger runs, other main buttons jump, swing weapon, do an ability, dodges, etc. There's a button combo of Running + down to slide which is semi-important and a little tricky to master. Didn't have too many issues with it outside of how Itorah likes grabbing ledges when I want to jump and bouncing on the balls is a little loose but manageable (and easier once you get a certain ability) - nothing that really ruined my day. There are a few chase scenes throughout that weren't too hard. Hitting monsters has a nice crunch to it. Graphics: Pretty. Reminds me of Dust: An Elysian Tale. Music: Gorgeous. Own it. Saving: There are two ways to save, both at campfires. One is to create a save file for parts of the game you want to re-experience or come back to (which I recommend doing once in a blue moon), the other is 'quick saving' which is for when you want to put the gam…

Boring, slow pacing, lack of mechanics, not so snappy as you'd like to expect

i was about 75 or 80% complete and my healing stopped working. i'm on the final dungeon right now and i could do it without healing, but i won't just not worth it. Up until that point the game was like 7/10. Got it cheap so i got my moneys worth, but still it annoys me that i will not finish it beacause a bug.

This game had great artwork and music. The controls near the end of the game could get frustrating, but powered through and the ending brought the whole story together. Definitely worth the money and time. Noticed a review claiming healing didn't work and I noticed that if you were being attacked while trying to heal, the attack would cancel it. Just added to the difficulty of gameplay and honestly it wasn't too problematic. I would definitely recommend, especially if you catch it on sale.
