Necken is a simplistic roguelike that let's you explore the deepest parts of the Swedish forest.
Take control of the people lost in the magical forest, gather resources, craft your equipment and fight your way through the randomly generated adventure.
The forest is full of animals, soldiers and mystical creatures, and neither of them wants you around.

- Permanent death - A small mistake can take a few minutes before it kills you.
- Minimalistic controls - So few buttons to learn. Almost annoying.

Not what i expected. PROS: Mushrooms and berries kept growing for repeat health pickups. CONS: Constantly need to repair items has gotten old really quick.1 found this helpful

Awesome music and gameplay
Highly recommend this game! It's challenging and addictive but also beautiful and feels magical. Setting is fresh and interesting.
Good and unique roguelite
In this video I take a look at Necken, a roguelite RPG game. Quite a nice strategy game. You need to make your way to the exit in each level collecting resources, crafting, repairing, and having as many encounters as your character can handle. Be careful though, once your dead it's over! But you can learn skills and find trinkets that can be used in your next play through. Once your used to the minimal graphics its addictive and fun, I enjoyed it. Take a look.
