What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Maze Art: Pink is a straightforward maze navigation game where you move a ball through 50 levels to collect hearts and reach exits, offering relaxing but repetitive gameplay that most players find unremarkable and uninspired. While some appreciate it as a neat little diversion with easy achievements completable in under an hour, the consensus is that it lacks real challenge, replayability, and originality, with players suggesting it's only worth considering at a very low price if you specifically enjoy maze games.
I got this from a giveaway site for free. When I thought I was done with "aMaze" games in my library a long time ago, "Maze Art" is here to replace it. Still as unremarkable as ever and not worth money, in my opinion. You move a ball using WASD or the arrow keys to navigate through a maze, collect hearts and reach the exit. There are 50 levels in total, with the difficulty (or rather complexity since there is no real challenge) increasing. I guess you could say it's relaxing gameplay, but then I'm not sure if I'm using it as a euphemism for "boring" at this point. There really isn't much else to say. Like the "aMaze" series, it's just a bunch of same-ish games using the same template, only with different themes and levels (which you probably could auto-generate and manually tweak a bit for technically unlimited content). Basically, this entire franchise is an infinite-money exploit (in theory). Once you've played one, you've played all of them. I wouldn't directly say that these are "bad" games, but they are unremarkable at best. They're just not worth money. You can find these at the back of your cereal box. I don't really see the "Art" part of this either. Not that it matters,…2 found this helpful
It's a neat little maze game
Easy Achievements, 100% / 45min.
Decided to 100% this even tho it's Steam Profile features are limited so it won't show up as a 100%ed game. It is indeed a maze game. It is occasionally difficult, with nearly all the difficultness being in the later levels of the game. To 100% the game, it took just over an hour in one playthrough. Not very replayable - I doubt I'll ever open the game again. If you can get a hold of the game for 25 cents or under, and you enjoy mazes, then I'd recommend the game. Otherwise, not really.
6/10
Beautiful, Thought provoking, Fun, Revolutionary, One of a kind, GOTY I physically could not stop playing. Firefighters had to pull me away from my computer
