About Kaiju Crush
Taking place in the fictional city of Megyo, you take the role of the player character, a dissatisfied salaryman whose world gets turned upside-down by an attack by Zira, the legendary monster who’s been devastating the city for the past 3 years. Now the same size as the giant monsters, your job is to convince Zira to stop attacking the city and have her help save the world from an impeding alien invasion as you get closer to one of four monster girls: Titania, your former best friend now a giant just like you, Koni, the queen of Crossbones Island and their patron goddess, Pegi, an alien robot who previously served the invasion about to attack the world and Zira herself.

Players criticize the game for having long stretches without meaningful choices, frustratingly high death rates that feel arbitrary, and minimal story progression despite repeated playthroughs, with multiple players reaching identical endings despite trying different paths. While some acknowledge the game raises interesting points about visual novel conventions, the overall consensus is that it fails to deliver on the promised multiple-ending experience and feels more like reading a linear story than playing an interactive game.
Worst visual novel ever. The story is not interesting and you can't even make your first choice until like 30 minutes in! It has 10 endings apparently but I got 3; one where Wifuzilla killed me, one where Wifuzilla killed me, and one where Wifuzilla killed me. I played for 2 hours with barely any story progression or character development. Every choice for the most part is a 50/50 chance of the game just ending with your death. If you aren't going to let the players play just self publish a book on Amazon. I'd even read that because, to say one good thing about the game, it raised some interesting points about the genre a couple of times, but other than that its not good. Its far from the choose your own adventure game that you expect it to be. I sure hope my refund is approved cause $9.99 is insane. My guess is it costs that much because it is long af.
