Project Warlock II

After finishing EP1 with Palmer and getting to EP2 with Urd the game's fun factor (for me at least) has dropped like crazy. Every single level/area in EP2 so far has been a literally large fxcking area or longer corridor with some extremely clustered spaces indoors, most levels are 20 minutes when i've been looking for secrets as well and i will still literally find nothing, because i suppose most of these secrets are just cryptic as fxck or hidden beyond reason. I genuinely mean that i look through as much as the areas as possible even going through the entire area from the start to the finish and the design of some of these levels doesn't make it easy or enjoyable (having to start looking at guides simply for secrets is just ruining exploration yes, but the levels themselves so far haven't even been fun to play) and EP2M5 has been the worst offender so far. The entire mission was just not fun to play and go through. With multiple large areas that are connected via bridges, the entire time it looks like there are no visible secrets or secret areas even when you go through the hidden-ish corners and edges. Its alright, i personally like the first one better. The enemy design and art style downgraded in my opinion. This one plays like the first so if you liked it i would recommend getting it.

So fun, so addicting, so retro. Having technically three unique campaigns really kept the game fresh the whole way through, and there's a good amount of content. Some maps had areas that were easy to get stuck in, but didn't detract from the experience

Fun to play with an great visual style. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll likely enjoy this one too. Many of the levels are large and non-linear. The level design quality is definitely mixed. There are three episodes and each has a unique character with their own weapons. Once you've completed the game, you can replay each episode with the other two characters. This is interesting, but also repetitive. My biggest gripe is the achievements: there are way too many of them, and while many are trivial, several are tedious and cannot be obtained through normal play (you have to replay sections to farm kills).

This game is really fun! I bought it when it first was announced in early access and I have to say it has improved drastically. Episode 2 kind of sucks because I don't like any of Urd's weapons (although maybe the shorty shotgun could be considered nice) or stats or anything but Episode 1 and especially Kirsten's are really good. Maybe the game in the third episode feels a bit unpolished as the levels run for maybe five minutes and feel kind of lackluster but the gunplay and general style of Kirsten elevate it personally.

One of the best boomer shooter I have ever played. In some things, in my opinion, it is also better than the first one. It s really too fun to be real. Gunplay is perfect, a lot of monsters, plenty of secrets, 3 different characters, 3 different worlds. The best I can imagine
