'Bus Simulator 23' is a better game, but this one also has a special quality. It's nice to see an independent artist as they mature.
This game is short, and that's the best part sadly. I WILL be giving it a thumbs up, but only because I can't give it a middle rating. The graphics are aesthetically interesting, the basis makes you ask questions, and the aiming is very kind to people who can't shoot a digital gun to save their lives, but it's otherwise not particularly interesting. It's a series of 4 repetitive and relatively empty mazes where you shoot rats. Occasionally, a large JPG of a rat will chase you, but it can be easily defeated. I found the inclusion of a flat image to be a bit tacky. I started counting down the stages around stage 2 (there's one for each stage of grief). If you love a little maze, this one is for you!
Stark, brutalist, minimalist, morbidly humorous, idiosyncratic art piece with quite the particular atmosphere and mood, dare I say Kafkaesque, Beckettian? There's really not much here, but I think this super restrictive style is where the true strength of this title lies. 7/10
I feel accomplished providing for my family, more so I'm proud my family came together in supporting me in my endeavors and awaiting my return with open arms, putting aside their small differences to be together as a unit during our meals.
I can smell them rotting.
