Any time some mouthbreather is praising the voice acting of Baldur's Gate 3, Disco Elysium, or Zero Parades, what they're really saying is "I have never played RATSHAKER and have no clue what I'm talking about."2 found this helpful
I like the audio design and art. It's clear that effort was put into the game, but tbh there isn't any real meaning to be taken from it or if there is one it's poorly communicated. The horror aspect feels shallow and more just like "look at this scary thing" as opposed to connecting to any sort of real human trauma, pain, or suffering. The gameplay felt repetitive and I was constantly looking for a non-existent narrative.
