Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami, developed and published by FURYU CORPORATION, is a roguelike dungeon crawler that leans heavily on established genre conventions while wrapping them in a distinctly anime-driven presentation. Set within the world of the Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs series, the game places its cast into a mysterious maze-like realm where each descent into the dungeon serves as both a challenge and a narrative device. The premise is simple, but it provides enough context to justify the constant cycle of exploration, defeat, and retry that defines the experience. The core gameplay follows a traditional mystery dungeon structure, where movement and actions are turn-based, and every step advances the state of the world. Players must navigate procedurally generated floors filled with enemies, traps, and items, all while managing limited resources such as health, hunger, and inventory space. The risk of losing progress upon defeat creates a constant sense of tension, especially during deeper runs where the stakes become higher. Success depends on careful planning, efficient use of items, and an understanding of enemy behavior, makin…

I love the Mystery Dungeon genre, but I can't in my right mind recommend this game to anyone except if they both know the original content AND are knowledgeable AND are okay with playing a flawed game in many ways.

I will think I finished all achivements and move one, well I need to kill the hardest thing in game the floor death and other of grinding. Now why not recommend is cause is too much RNG, really they could put a store each 10 floors at max not much to ask when you enter a dungeon and boom 20 floors and you must destroy your items cause bad luck. Also there are missions in maps for get items in dungeon... and those dungeons not let you enter with items... see the problem of RNG. Now what about the story, well meh but that have parts not translated I will say nope, just nope maybe if you are fan of anime and want see the images of them cause seems will never get season 2 could pass but even then feel it bad.

Definitely a game that fans will enjoy infinitely more than non-fans. It’s just unfortunate that the keyboard control scheme is gibberish, and controller support is unsupported. It’s hard to recommend it too highly on PC for the controls, and a weird “clothes tearing” effect they went with, though if you’ve read the manga and want more (like me), then definitely check it out. https://www.gamegrin.com/reviews/yuuna-and-the-haunted-hot-springs-the-thrilling-steamy-maze-kiwami-review/
