I love a nice cozy relaxing game and the bee is too cute!

About an hour in I'm having fun. Once I got the hang of movement it felt very intuitive but you're dropped into the game without a tutorial or any on screen guidance so it felt like a very clunky start. I didn't talk to the first bee you're supposed to see because I didn't know how to lower myself yet so I just flew as far away from the hive as possible before trying to find a quest marker lol. I've completed two puzzles and two missions and the latter didn't feel fetch-questy which I appreciate. The sound effects are soothing (love speeding up and hearing the wind woosh), and it's pretty to look at - I honestly was expecting something a lot more crunchy to look at lol so I was pleasantly surprised. (Once I realised there was no tutorial or onscreen guideance and paused to look at it) the key mapping was clearly labelled. I also could turn off motion blur (woo! ..Does anyone like motion blur?), adjust mouse sensitivity which a lot of indie games neglect. I wish there was a HUD with waypoints or a compass, or even just a measure of how full your inventory is getting via a graphic like a bag filling up, but I'm still early game so maybe it's an upgrade I'll obtain. Hero of the Hive is a buzzworthy game I didn't know I needed. You play the world's cutest overachieving bee, zipping around biomes, collecting nectar, helping other furry neighbors, and trying to rescue the Queen. The art of adorable. the vibes are chill, and the whole thing is so relaxing you start to forget about your real-life to-do list (which, sadly, involves fewer flowers and zipping around meadows).

This game is so fun and cozy! A lot of passion and dedication has been put into this game. I can't wait to get more customizations for my bee! Really great game.

Really enjoyed this game! Its the bees knees, the character designs feel unique and I enjoyed exploring the world, the music and quests were really enjoyable as well. If youre looking for a fun little indie game to spend a relaxing day playing, I recommend this one!
