PBA Pro Bowling 2026

This game is like the NBA and madden for bowlers. It's goated.

I really enjoy this, because I'm a bowler, but a few key things frustrate me. To a bowler, of course I recommend this! It's fun to compete from the desk. To a casual, I understand seeing the struggle to enjoy this game. the points: -- There feels to be no "core" in any of the bowling balls, they either have tack or they don't. -- Default throw speed is over 20 MPH. The Ai's, however, have accurate and human roll speeds. (i'm talking about a 21mph ball with 600rpm. that's what's weird.) -- Arrows to select hook amount feels intuitive, but I desire more precision. -- Urethane bowling balls. I'm reluctant to say that they feel any different. -- The graphics, noticeably need tweaks. Most important would be the animations. Most bowlers are holding floating bowling balls. Darren Tang, among all, does not hold his Ion Pro Solid correctly. A more random comment is that Darren bowls both 1 & 2 handed, I'd be stoked to see him switch forms mid match. (I do actually happen to watch my AI opponent, it's a tad fun)

Honestly, this is the laziest attempt to gamify bowling I've ever seen. I competitively bowled up into college, including with some of the pros featured in this game. I was a 200+ average bowler, with multiple 300's under my belt. That being said, here's my pros and cons: Pros: * The amount of companies and bowling balls they got on the game is really quite impressive and it's fun to have the same equipment in game that'd you have in real life. * It's a fun "arcade" game * The ball physics (slide, grab, roll) are relatively close to what I'd expect. * The patterns feel different. Attacking on one pattern versus a different pattern required different shots or different equipment. It wasn't necessarily exactly how I'd play the pattern IRL, but it was within a few boards of what I'd expect the shot to be. Cons: * It's not a sim. Not even close IMO. * I'm not a fan of Baker-format bowling (5-person team each throwing a frame and rotating). I needed to write down what each person was throwing and their lines to make sure I got each shot right when I went through a second time. * I wish that your position was saved on a per lane basis. Sometimes, the lanes degrade differently and I'd…

A solid bowling game, not perfect but solid. The tiers to complete make it feel a bit acacdey, wish there was a real season mode. The game does get extra credit for having the best representation of the duckpin, and candlepin bowling out there.
