Arcane Ascent

This should not be out on EA. Translation is bad, no explanation for anything, moving around the "map" feels very perplexing, things just happens, card text and how the cards move is not good. One good thing is the art is alright and some of the card effects looks good. This will be a refund, it at least, I have to wait until they change a lot. Not recommended.

I have refunded the game. The interface is pretty bad, so it's hard to understand what the cards are supposed to do, as well as the different functions. Right after launch, I couldn't press anything anymore and had the first bug. I had to alt+f4 to get out of the game and restart it. Then, I go for the first door and start fighting a guy that is basically doing nothing except for shielding himself the entire time. Then I saw damage numbers above the enemy, thinking that 6x1 means that he either deals 6 times 1 damage or 1 time 6 damage. However, I suddenly lose like 8 HP. Makes no sense to plan around that, if you can't trust the numbers. Besides that, I had to fight this guy for a ton of time and it's just not been fun to spam the same stuff over and over. The only positive is that the animations and intro look nice enough. However, it feels like aesthetics have taken priority over everything else, to the detriment of the game.

《奥术升腾》在传统的类杀戮尖塔的DBG roguelike框架中，加入了元素克制的系统，极大丰富了游戏的炼金主题和策略深度。 尖塔类DBG在市面上已经很多了，其基本框架我不再赘述，本作在大部分设计上都和尖塔这个完美轮子差不多，玩家需要登上奥术之塔，同样的费用设计，护盾机制；不过本作由于“元素”对战局的巨大影响，本作将遇敌由路径制改成固定的三选一形式，可以从门的纹路上看出元素，而随机事件则会以骨堆财宝雕塑等形式出现在门前。为什么说元素对战局影响很大呢，因为本作中对于弱势元素的效果甚至不是减半，而是直接无效，劣势局面下经常会遇到整个卡组中只有两三张牌能造成攻击效果的情况，用完就只能叠盾过，直到下一次洗牌，可想而知如果就只给你两个门会有什么后果。不过玩家自身不被视为具有元素，如果玩召唤流的话更是直接告别整个元素克制系统，只要注意不同元素的debuff类型就可以了，不知道为什么设计这种直接废掉一大块游戏系统的处理。游戏还将炼金系统作为局外的一部分，打败boss可以获得不同素材，集齐一套菜谱后即可换成永久道具，单次可以带三枚，除此之外还有各种宝石可装备，局外成长极具深度。 目前体感最大的问题在于数值没有考虑好，职业之间难度差距极大，召唤想要保血就不用干事了，因为没有集火能力，前期小怪局也要十个回合，体验不佳。反而元素法的力量增幅极其普遍。即使如此，游戏前几个回合依旧会出现四怪的情况，小怪比boss难搞多了，失败挫败感很强。 说说缺点，开发组在把更多资源投入美术之前，可能真的得考虑去找一个职业的游戏UX设计师了，本作的UI问题几乎已经到了影响游玩的地步，教程流程中的各种提示框会一次性出现在你的屏幕上，没有阅读的优先级。而且在你点击位置各异的“不再显示”前，会持续影响你点击页面元素。建议至少这个问题解决后再离开EA。与此同时，机翻导致的翻译问题也很严重，甚至还出现了调用的中文字体字库不显示字符不全的问题。 [quote]关注鉴赏组：[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45134494]浮生评测[/url] ←"浮生若梦，一鉴倾心，邀您共赏人间烟火" 加入Steam组：[url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/LLFLLFF]浮生评测[/url]←“一起追寻'浮生若梦'般的游戏体验” 开始“浮生若梦”鉴赏组的奇幻之旅！[/quote]

Well I like it. I think this is an early release or demo, not a full game. 3 total classes and only like 30 ish total cards per class. Each class has 2 or 3 cards that once you get them you blast right through everything . 5 relic or gem slots and after winning 5 runs they are all unlocked and you only get "empty" as a relic reward for completing a run. lots of mid game lock ups either can't use any cards or enemy takes no damage from cards forcing you to reset game and click continue. you can also use this feature to scum save for card rewards. Don't see a reward you want ? exit and continue and a different set rewards will show up. Played for about 15 hours so far. unlocked 95% of ALL cards. unlocked ALL relics. unlocked a handful of alchemy items. GREAT DEMO. When do we get the full game ? If this is it then wait till you can pick it up for $2 - $3. It will keep you entertained for a weekend.

Although its core mechanics and strategy are good, this game feels unfinished. The various player characters' mechanics are creative but not well explored. 80% of the bosses are poorly balanced. Scaling upgrades after a run are also very unbalanced.

It's a really fun game—especially playing as the Summoner, which is super entertaining because you can summon creatures to fight for you. I also liked that she can stun enemies, which helps you beat the game. I also liked the mechanic that lets you create your own relic and your copy of the Final Book after beating the towers for the first time.
