Sounds, looks, and plays very good. There is no procgen in this game, only some randomization of skills and items, which works okay in a story-focused game, although I'd like to see the content less repetitive, Still, I find the experience worthwhile

I found no way to save progress during a run when I had to stop to play...which is critical in a roguelike. I thought I'd be able to continue where I left off - but I guess not. I asked for help on this on the Steam forum but got no reply (you can check in the discussions section) and asked on the roguelike subreddit...and no one seems to have played this game to answer. Not being able to save when exiting the game, or at least a check point system...it's a no from me unfortunately.

[b]"peel your skin to roast, and pickle your fingers for winter treats"[/b] 💖🖤🖤 🟩 neat folklore theme, kinda banger music 🔷 nicely polished, nice art 🔴 kinda brief and shallow [b]vibes:[/b] folktale [b]loops:[/b] kind of like a blend of traditional roguelike but scenario based [b]ramblings:[/b] roguelike, was fine, i really liked the theme and the character art in dialog, the gameplay was fine and had some neat elements but for a more traditional roguelike it ended up fairly shallow. i quite liked the music. while i liked playing through the royal inquisitor's and the shaman apprentice's stories i felt like the thief's felt substantially empty in comparison. the gameplay does end up kind of simplistic, but i thought it was pretty decent and fun to run through for what it was. It's a pretty good simple roguelike, honest easy to pick up, it's fun to play. For me however, because I have hyper focused on traditional Korean shamanism for a little too long in my life, the most fun was reading a Traditional Korean Shaman story. Accurate symptoms of Shinbyeong (Spirit Sickness) in the backstory. It's not alot of story. All said and done, Minus one point for not having my favorite legendary mythological creature, the bulgasari. A-
