Absolute bargain game that deserves way more attention, by an awesome indie dev. Smol nitpick: Some sounds are way louder/quieter than others.

Someone used Conway’s Game of Life cellular simulation as a premise to make a game? Ok, you got my attention, I know about it, I follow Numberphile channel for decades. Yeah sure I want to play that. However... What you find here just doesn't... oh boy. There is no introduction to the game, some small random npc dialogues, oh you have a gun in your hands for no reason? Go and shoot some "machines". So you find a portal on that initial hub area, no info, you enter that portal. And you shot some cubes, for 2 or 5 minutes... sometimes you're pulled into a matrix world for no reason, zero explanation, kill a couple of constructs, then back to "reality"... why? Who cares! Developer didn't care, why should you? And then THE cherry on top, the ultimate sin in video games? The moment you destroy the last cube piece on a level, you are pulled back to the hub area, against your will, leaving ALL that currency and items around you! That's a newbie level design sin. I don't recommend this game, but I'm leaving it as positive for John. Refunded, return my 2.49, since I cant have my 0.5 hrs back. Damn, this one pissed me off.

its actually a good game. well for 2.50. not too much replayability but the sound is nice. i just bought it for the source tbh so im happy.

A gem of a game. I come back to play it and always have a good time. From the art, to the music, to the combat it gets harder at just the right pace. Its a pick up and play I cant recomend it enough.
