Fun game. Visuals are clean, music is okay, champions are diverse. All 3 planets are exotic, but we could use a few more - maybe with more lush greenery or arid yellows. If you watched the trailer, you understand a lot can happen on-screen at once - my eye was able to parse through it well enough - but it may overwhelm other fans of the genre. Ion Beacon is THE BEST weapon in the game, in my opinion, which REALLY adds to the visual noise. Besides Ion Beacon, there's a lot of other cool, unique weapons to choose from - but many require rebalancing or empowering, even if their purpose isn't DPS. Crowd control weapons, radial attacks, piercing weapons, none of it provides the control like Ion Beacon eliminating enemies. You'll need to play it a few hours before you interpret mechanisms that, at first, seem alien; blue orbs are XP, yellow orbs are money, hearts are HP, and brains are... still unclear to me. Hacking slowly acquires cash, red circles are kill counters, different "towers" with a single, double, or triple spire are different than stores and armories... it could be better decoded... but I guess we're on an alien planet, so things are alien at first. for $2 on sale really good game 8/10
feels super unfinished which is normal for Early Access but now it seems the dev has stopped updating it in favor of another game.
This game is incredibly fun but I can't in good conscience recommend it. The game randomly freezes or crashes - check the discussions, this isn't isolated to specific users or hardware. It worked without issue for me for a couple hours but, without any hardware changes on my end, it now crashes repeatedly. The game hasn't been optimized for the amount of enemies they spawn (at least for certain models) so the engine slows to a crawl. I've really enjoy the Survivor genre (bullet hell roguelite) and haven't run into this in any other games, even those that spawn thousands of enemies instead of hundreds. The small indie studio recently posted that the game isn't abandoned, but there hasn't been a real update in over a year. If they optimize their engine and fix the crashes, I'll gladly be back. For now, it's on the shelf until the game is playable.
it's fun game but it's not finish. maybe if you really want to play just try it for one round if it's not for you just refund. that the beauty of steam. my honest opinion? the game don't even finish and dev team just move on and make new game i called that betrayal and not worth your money.
