STORY
In joiLAB, your friend Kiyomi controls the avatar Kimi, who is aware that you both are in an online game, despite being physically distant. Kimi frequently breaks the fourth wall, giving you a truly unique and interactive JOI (jerk-off instructions). Kimi is waiting, so don't keep her waiting too long!
GAMEPLAY
The controls have been adapted to provide an experience similar to the virtual reality version. You can respond YES or NO to Kimi's questions and eventually develop a romantic connection with her. If you donβt wish to interact with her... you can practice your aim in some minigames.

there are NO instructions on how to play with Just a keyboard. Keyboard does not seem to interact at all. you can move around the environment with wasd but not "interact" can not move her or yourself in any obvious way, Zero JOI Instructions7 found this helpful
It barely functions, the shooting training is basically just a joke, there is no crosshair nor any sensetivity settings, the H rated stuff is janky, wouldnt even be good in VR. its barely a game.5 found this helpful

[h1]DO NOT BUY!!![/h1] [b]Does not work with the Kiiroo Keon like advertised (when connected to Intiface Central). The game does not show you the keybinds unless you [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/3431800/discussions/0/591782054759401068/#c600793060086189356]initate the tutorial[/url].[/b] [i]Link leads to a discussion on how to access the tutorial.[/i] This game does not work with the Kiiroo Keon at all (which is advertised to work). Overall, this game does run better then the VR version and I have no way of testing other toys to see if it flat out will not send commands to Intiface Central or if it is jus the Keon not working. [h1]This review will stay up until the issue is resolved.[/h1] Overall, I would love to see this game be more polished, but I believe the dev has given up on this and the VR version of the game entirely. It has potential but sadly abandoned. I tried playing with a Solace Pro and it just won't connect. I tried nearly everything. Controls are janky. I would say, that the game barely functions. I hope the game will better itself in the future.2 found this helpful
