I rarely play story-driven games. In fact, I originally bought this game simply because I liked the character designs. I didn't expect much beyond that. After finishing the game, I realized how wrong I was. The story slowly pulled me in, and before I knew it, I had become emotionally attached to the characters and their world. When the credits rolled, I found myself sitting there in silence, thinking about everything that had happened. It wasn't because the ending was simply sad, but because I genuinely didn't want my journey with these characters to end. I never expected a game like this to make me feel that way. The writing is excellent, the characters are memorable, the music perfectly complements the atmosphere, and the world feels alive. This game even made someone like me, who normally doesn't enjoy story-driven games, read almost every line with genuine interest. I do have one criticism. I wish the characters had more expressive animations and body language during conversations. There were many emotional moments that could have been even more impactful if the characters moved more naturally instead of relying mostly on facial expressions. I'm ashamed of how much I enjoyed this novel. The Emperor taught me better than this, but... Namo is the best girl.
