About CaseCracker3

✦ AI summary

CaseCracker3 puts you in the role of a ruthless detective who must organize chaotic evidence, interrogate suspects with contradictory clues, and break through their lies using an intense new Inquiry system. Its branching multi-linear narrative hides interconnected mysteries that reward careful deduction and reveal hidden storylines based on how you pressure witnesses and piece together the truth.

Immersive Hardcore Deduction System

You are not just playing a detective; you are becoming one. Step into the shoes of a cold, meticulous investigator and plunge into the dense fog of complex mysteries. Organize evidence, search for clues, cross-verify information, and rebuild rigorous logic from chaotic narratives. The system delivers an experience driven entirely by pure deduction.

All-New Hardcore "Inquiry" Mechanic

Don't settle for passively reading files! In the brand-new Inquiry system, you will engage in direct psychological warfare. Present contradictory clues with precision to strike directly at the subjects' mental defenses. Shatter their lies with ironclad evidence, apply relentless pressure, and force them to surrender the secrets they guard so fiercely.

Intersecting Multi-Linear Narrative

A single email, a phone call, or a piece of testimony could pull the thread on another entirely hidden storyline. Coupled with the detailed post-case "Analysis," you will re-examine this intricate web of information from a God's-eye view. The ultimate truth may be far beyond anything you initially imagined.

Standalone Entry & Deep Lore Connections

Even if you start your journey with this installment, you can experience the complete investigative process without any barriers. But if you are a returning veteran, you will uncover spine-tingling deep connections: familiar faces will reappear, and your past choices will leave an indelible mark on this new narrative.

Key Features

All-New Inquiry System: Present crucial evidence, confront subjects head-on, and crush their lies in intense psychological warfare!
Active Deduction Gameplay: Absolutely no hand-holding. Rely entirely on your own logic to piece together the full picture of the crime!
Standalone Yet Interconnected: Zero-barrier entry for newcomers, paired with exclusive, deep-universe easter eggs for veteran detectives!

Unfortunately they used generative AI for some of the videos you can find in the game, very dissappointing and unnecessary...

An improvement over the previous 2 with the additional email and inquiry features, it's still more of the same but also with a better note system imo. This is a fun solid mystery game where you'll want to keep track of your notes for the entire run. The number of 'how was I supposed to figure that out' bits are basically 0. The one big weakness is the solo dev so using AI for some image/audio stuff which is a little unfortunate. Hope one day they can go back and replace it with some better quality stuff but it works and it does at least fit the vibes of the game.

Absolutely fantastic series of detective games. If you consider it: start from the first one, make ONE GIANT timeline OUTSIDE THE GAME and add all the events there... you will see, it is all connected.

Having played all 3 of the CaseCracker games, I think this one is my favorite. From the web-based mystery in the demo trailer, to the neat addition of emailing, and all the puzzles in this game, I think this is just a really well written game. I got stumped once or twice, and made a guess for a core report, but I love that once you submit it, there's a explanation of how to reach the conclusion. I wish more games did that.

As the other say, it's more Casecracker! If you haven't played the other games you should probably play those first, but that's fine, they're all about equally good I'd say.
