✦ AI summary

Players praise Centipede Simulator as a well-polished, nostalgic take on the classic Snake formula with smooth controls, multiple game modes, and charming arthropod aesthetics that appeals to both casual players and bug enthusiasts. The main criticisms center on limited long-term engagement and a desire for more progression systems, with several players suggesting unlockable cosmetics, level-based challenges, and additional gameplay features would give the experience more depth and replayability beyond high score chasing.

the game reminds a classic Snake game but wrapped into a great art work, and your targets are moving (some of them can actually kill you) Played it on a Steam Deck - runs smoothly. Too bad I cant fight birds back - but it's pretty fun to chase the spiders while they are scared of you :D

cute little game :) its a fun adaptation of snake and i'm very glad for the fixed camera mode being present. Good for the occasional playsession. Overall the game reminds me of an old love, feeding frenzy. it'd be cute to see the game expand into a level-based experience like that game, with varying challenges appearing on the arena where you have to reach a certain goal or size. Some thoughts on what i think could help make this game feel more "full" - unlockable appearances for your 'pede, so that score results in something. - adding a mode that combines all the gamey features? stamina sprinting and prey turn combined would be more fun. Maybe something that also lets you clear out the antlions for points would be fun. - add a qol setting to make sprinting be a toggle rather than a hold, hurts my poor hand to hold the mouse down that long!

I have to say that I really enjoy this game. I love that it has 3 different game modes, 2 maps, and you can add birds in to make it harder. I would play with caution if you are not fond of spiders because the game does have spiders in it, but they mostly just walk around and don't bother you to much unless you get close to them. I've had a lot of fun playing and I definitely recommend giving it a try.

A fun little old school game. Perfect for short and intense sessions.

This game is perfect for people who don’t chase results and simply enjoy the classic “snake” gameplay vibe 😄 Relaxing, simple, and satisfying — just grow, survive, and have fun at your own pace.

Centipede Simulator is basically a chaotic bug-version of Snake, except now everything wants you dead 🐛 You run around eating crickets to grow longer while dodging predators, underground enemies, and random hazards. The movement is honestly the best part. The procedural animation makes the centipede feel smooth and surprisingly satisfying to control, especially when turning quickly or weaving around obstacles. There are a few different modes, but they mostly revolve around chasing high scores and surviving as long as possible. It’s simple, easy to understand, and immediately chaotic. That said, after about 15 to 20 minutes, I personally started losing interest. The concept is fun, cute, and unique at first, but right now it feels more like a novelty arcade game than something with long-term replay value. I could see myself coming back if more content, progression, unlockables, or variety gets added later. Still, for the price and for some quick chaotic fun, it gave me a few good laughs and some genuinely stressful moments. 😡One major con.. The mouse doesn't stay in game. I clicked out of the game and died.. Whelp.
