About Centipede: Recharged
Aim for a high score in the old school arcade mode and earn bragging rights with your name at the top of the leaderboard. Or test your skills and rank on the boards in one of 30 intensely creative challenges, which twist the gameplay in new and exciting ways.
A dozen new power-ups can give you an edge by introducing abilities like screen-clearing explosions, rail guns, and even slowing down time. Every mode and level is playable in local co-op mode with a friend.

[h2]Yet another pew pew game, but it's a pretty pew pew.[/h2] I played the original Centipede growing up, but not all that much. It just wasn't one of my favorites as a kid. So when Atari announced the Recharged version, I wasn't nearly as excited as I was for Asteroids or Breakout. Anyhoo... The game is fun, but it can also get ridiculously difficult. Out of the ten Recharged games, this one had some of the most inconsistent difficulty. One moment it's manageable, the next it's complete chaos. The different power-ups are a nice addition, but some of them just plain suck. In fact, I found myself avoiding certain power-ups because they made things worse. I know, I know... that's probably just part of the strange gameplay that is Centipede. I've played through most, if not all, of Atari's Recharged series. This version of Centipede is visually appealing and very fun. I bought an arcade stick to play it, I love it and the kids love it! 10/10 fun game everyone can enjoy!2 found this helpful

I LOVE IT Do yourself a favor and use a trackball. I took a trackball and turned on its side and I could not be happier with this game. Well worth the money.1 found this helpful
The controls are a little tricky to get used to, but if you have the skills, patience and no sore thumb, you'll enjoy this game too.
