Lightless (2025)

Such an innovative game in the lighting & gameplay aspects! The game turned out to be something way more than what I expected. I think this game is underrated and deserves more attention. Its horror level is well balanced, and the jump scares are actually creative. People usually skip leaving a review when the game is all good, but when they experience a little flaw, they instantly throw their dirt, which I find unfair, especially for games made with small budgets like this one. Lightless is well worth the price, so I recommend it to every horror enthusiast out there. 10/10 would sheet my pants again!

Off the rip i was already scared since im not good with handling the darkness. I was pretty tensed up throughout the game and I enjoyed every minute of it and using the glowing orbs was an awesome way to help me navigate the mines, i can honestly it was genius. Enjoyable psychological horror game. Throwing glowing orbs as your flashlight mechanic is extremely unique and not something that I have personally seen done in another horror game before. A couple solid jump scares throughout its short playthrough and none of them feel cheap. You do not have a map so as long as you are good about remembering the layout you will do fine navigating the tunnels. Well priced for the experience and would recommend it to any fan of horror games. Looking forward to the next title from this developer.

Its set in the dark, in a mine but loved the light orbs and how the mine looked Dismemberment (Difficulty): It's difficult but not difficult, its almost a walking simulator with some danger, if you are good at remembering your steps, its less difficult, if you are good at throwing the light orbs and dealing with the random bounces, then even less difficult, I personally did not find it hard but I can see where the light system to light your way vs a standard crappy flashlight can be troublesome but I loved the light orbs Infestation (Bugs): I did not encounter any bugs that I noticed, every time I thought I got a light orb jammed, it was fine Corpse Integrity (Story): Story is kind of sad but interesting, enjoyed trying to figure it out and seeing what the next event or clue was, so I enjoyed it! Do not want to give any spoilers. Something Off About It? (Ambience): As I jokingly said while playing, who needs the demon guy? The mine and the darkness is terrifying enough!
