Excellent, plus a veritable artistic bounty, 10/10. Surprising and refreshing from start to finish. -- 71 y.o. gamer, I make my own C.E. tables for all games, so some hints for other mature gamers or the interested. For example, the Sourcerer, Health initial 657 and Stamina 117, current and max are Float, Simple Values. All 4 grouped together, ending in hex 88, 8C, 90 and 94. Freeze and/or input any value, 999999, whatever you like. Access (ammo), Memory (currency), and all potions and items are 4 Bytes Exact, can change to 9999 or whatever. Stats, are 4 Bytes Exact, Vitality, Stamina, Equip Load, Strength, Dexterity, Source(Attunement), Luck, all capped at 60, and grouped together. If slow walking in water in a DLC annoys you : use potion "Lofty Idea" and run in it. Also recommend for all the game, "Brooding Voice Potion", no staggered if hit, but specially for those slim platforms with a fall to death, maybe in a part with swinging axes too. For potions galore if you will, with C.E.: 4 Bytes Exact, super easy to find, make 9999 potions or whatever quantity you fancy. Enjoy !

Dropped this one. Bit too janky and annoying instead of actually fun. Has some decent exploration at times though. But the Grinder is a horrendous boss

Lies of P is the top of my list for best soulslike game. This game is taking 2nd over everything else. It's that good imo. They killed it with this one.

The only good souls-like... and it's the one that's a complete joke.

The combat isn't where it needs to be - fighting just feels [i]really[/i] bad: [list] [*] Your weapons feel shorter than they visually appear. [*] Hit boxes are so precise that, even if you're locked on and 2 inches from an enemy, you can miss depending on what part of their animation your target is in - [i]extremely[/i] noticeable/reproducible on the golden knights. [*] Every enemy in this game will kite around you. If you walk away, they follow, if you walk towards them, they back up, and if you try to roll in to catch them you'll miss. So the definitive strategy is to just hold your shield up and walk directly against them for like 5 seconds until they [i]finally[/i] swing at you. It's incredibly monotonous, and it's now clear to me [i]why[/i] games like Dark Souls give normal enemies very basic, predictable AI. [/list] The level design and exploration isn't great either - lots of Souls style shortcuts - too many actually, to the point where it's genuinely disorienting. The game doesn't have enough assets to visually distinguish areas, so when you put 5 shortcuts in a single area it becomes really hard to tell where you've been and where you haven't. You can't…
