If u want to play a Souls Game play DS1 or DS3 but DS2 is sh*t

This game is good. It has obvious points of friction that fans of the series will point to as an indication that this is the worst souls game - I think it's more so a matter of difference in approach from the developers. DS2 reminds me of Fromsoft's early King's Field titles, games where the level is the enemy and the act of exploring is a war of attrition. Every increment of progress means resources expended, whether that be lifegems or your weapon's precious durability. Pressing forward is a matter of removing obstacles, which in most cases equal hordes of enemies that will quickly overwhelm the player if not given the methodical attention that they demand. Treat them (and their guerilla ambush tactics) as traps as much as they are adversaries. Admittedly, this may be annoying when having to clear through an area peppered with these "traps" time and time again, but it is what it is. Is this cope? Yes. But also, it's an acknowledgement of what this game is. Dungeon crawling. With a lot of cool gear and ideas. It's good.

The black sheep of the bunch. Truly an odd ball for better and worse. In the past I had played DS2 on me ol Xbox 360 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hated it never even got past pursuer. However recently I was forced to take off my diaper and put on the big boy pants as I was doing a Dark Souls marathon and so I had to finally play DS2 all the way through. And you know what... (never before said words incoming) its not that bad. By far the most challenging part of this game are the zones (and ADP). The bosses are all straight weenie hut junior but getting to them is the true first sin. Not much to say about this one besides that so yeah... play this one don't be afraid 8/10 - Majula clears other hubs not gonna lie

Dark Slop 2 is a great example of a company tryna make a game without the developer who made the game good in the first place. Pure slop, and calling this game slop is an understatement. No progression in terms of armour as you progress through the game (I've had the same armour equipped since the 2-3rd area you progress through and I'm 12 areas deep, absolutely shocking. Every enemy either has the attack speed of Bruce Lee on speed, a million poison attacks or the power of Thor turned to the max. Area NPC enemies are more difficult than the bosses are, and to top it off, you have to grind out the first 20 odd levels for dodging to actually function so good luck making a good build until your level 110+. Gank squads are just total bs, you can't fight a single enemy without his mate 9 miles away legging it to your fight to fist you from behind, I guess that's what the 2 means, as every fight is a 2v1. Got this game on sale and I even regret paying the sale price, absolute aids
