- Play through 103 simply by looking at objects to piece the story together. The more that you observe the environment, the more you understand. Primary instructions and simple riddles are given through two picture frames which direct you to progress.
- 103 focuses on having a smaller, detailed environment that you can explore. Read messages, solve puzzles, view pictures and objects as well as experience events and encounter characters that all help you understand what happened.

The game is very short, about less than an hour. It takes place in a small space, but still manages to create a really nice atmosphere thanks to all the details, and the soundtrack works well too. It’s mainly here to tell a story, with only a few puzzle moments that sometimes feel a bit unclear in terms of what triggers them or what you’re supposed to do. I’m not entirely sure what to think about it, but overall I enjoy these kinds of experimental games, and I had a nice time with it.5 found this helpful
+ interesting allegory for prison + short + semi-psychedelic + good atmosphere building/good music/artistic - 1 or 2 parts are confusing to trigger the next event but the rest is smooth playing - twist ending is meh - you know the ending right at the start if you observe your environment what makes this a 'recommend' is the atmosphere and telling a story in 30 min2 found this helpful
I'ts a short and small game with an important message. I liked it very much, it was really nice animated and for it's price it's really okay! You can't expect too much of course but I think the message which got revealed in the end, is really important. I finished it in less than an hour, but it was really cool. All you do is run through halls and interact with some objects, nothing special but I liked it. :)2 found this helpful
I'm playing Steam games in alphabetical order and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/H_tB7s2hqtg Prefer to read? 103 is a horror-esque walking simulator that is all about the atmosphere and ambience. It's slightly spooky at times, the same way walking around a new house in the middle of the night is, but there's no jump scares. Instead, there's a just a general sense of unease and weirdness that sets you on edge. The environments are incredibly detailed and the sound design is impeccable, making great use of a 3D soundscape - using a headphones is strongly recommended. Gameplay is limited to walking around and looking at things, having clearly taken inspiration from Silent Hill PT, so steer clear if you're looking for combat or object interactions as you won't find them here. This game is here to tell a story, and you're part of it. It takes roughly an hour to finish the game - it won't blow your mind, but it serves perfectly as a bite-sized gaming experience. Worth a look, especially if you can pick it up on sale.1 found this helpful
This game had been sitting in my library for a very long time, and I had never played it until yesterday. I originally thought it was a love story, but it’s not. Still, the atmosphere is lovely, and I absolutely love this kind of cartoony graphic design similar to Sea of Thieves. The music is so good that I’m going to buy the soundtrack, honestly, €1.30 for music of this quality is a gift. I just wish there were more games like this out there.1 found this helpful
Walked around in circles until nothing happened. Quite boring.
