5 Minutes Rage - Hatred Edition is a 2.5D multiplayer game where two teams of robots (junkbots) clash in a battle of cannon shots to bring the ball to the goal. It features a frantic gameplay with 5 minutes matches, 2vs2 or 1vs1, in online or local mode.
An hybrid between a party game and a shooter: straightforward and fun but leaving space for the development of skills and tactics. The aesthetics mixes colorful 80s flavoured atmospheres with last generation graphics and effects, using Unreal Engine.
Use the in-game emojis to express your frustration, master laser machine gun, explosive bullet, shield and sprint, deflect projectiles and throw enemies in their own goal to humiliate them.

5 Minutes Rage is a PvP only arcade style 3D rendered 2D platformer/brawler arena game where you control a somewhat low poly robot and brawl against other low poly robots, if there were any. It's like Super Smash Bros but without any charm or characterisation, and not as good. The technical implementation here is okay, you get a few customisations and the game supports 4K and looks borderline passable (although the assets are a little low poly/store brand). The theme of the game is painfully generic. The focus of the game is pure PvP, there's only a very small amount of single player content (minigames). Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. Developers often opt for PvP-only as developing single player content is difficult and requires capable storytelling, writing, level design and a wide range of other game development skills and talent. The vast majority of PvP-only games fail because they don't go "viral", and without players, the game dies. Since there aren't any, and most of people are launching it only to get Steam Trading Cards, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Sure, it's cheap while on sale with 90% discount, but are you sure you want to pay for a game to play with bots?
