A Bewitching Revolution is a first-person adventure game about a communist witch living in a cyberpunk city. Use magic to help the city's residents build collective forms of power and resistance!
Inspired by the work of Silvia Federici, A Bewitching Revolution tells an optimistic story about people transforming their gloomy capitalist present into a bright revolutionary future. It is designed to be played in a single sitting, roughly one hour long.

played this when i was 13 before i was a communist, no doubt it went over my head and yet i suspect it may have nudged me in the right direction. another world is possible. never let anybody make you feel silly for believing that.2 found this helpful

Not really sure what I was expecting going into this but it wasn't what I recieved. The premise of the game should have been thought provoking: social revolution through political awareness, but it is very detached from reality. The concepts and thoughts are very surface level understanding and idealistic of socialism/communism and capitalism. It reads more like the distorted thoughts of edgy 14-year olds on reddit than researched and non-partisan opinion. I'm dissapointed it devolves into the normal retoric that widespread change cannot happen without violence and total destruction of the "others". I don't get how the thoughts about prisons being comparable to wage slaves fits and that they're mutually exclusive to socialism. It's a very narrow view of the way prisons work and ignores how countries that focus on reform and not imprisonment actually have a positive impact on keeping people from re-offending and re-integrating into society. Outside of the politics of the game, it's very simplistic which works on keeping the focus on the ideas but I don't really get "cyberpunk". There are times where I was clueless what you're supposed to do and was just running around interact…
