A pretty and relaxing game with a cozy aesthetic that hides some devious (but optional!) platforming challenges. Once you begin grasping the more nuanced details of your movement options, you unlock an imaginative playground that feels rewarding to traverse. Great for 3D platformer lovers, also great for everyone else.3 found this helpful
Light platformer where a robot expands a minimal blocky world by smashing bottles to reveal islands, but lack of direction doesn’t make it so appealing. There’s no real story in this game. You play as a robot sailing through the skies in a flying ship. One day, while fishing, he pulls up a strange bottle. When he smashes it open, a new floating island appears nearby, containing another bottle, and the cycle continues. That’s the core appeal: each bottle expands the world, and you never know what the next island will bring. Visually, though, it’s pretty minimal with mostly blocky terrain at different elevations that create platforming challenges. There are unique elements, but they’re reserved for more important islands. Falling into the clouds isn’t a big deal either, since you instantly respawn on the nearest flat surface. Controls are simple. Besides movement, you can jump, dive, and perform a smash attack. The dive extends your jump distance between islands, but it works best when combined with the smash, which gives you a small height boost and lets you regain control. If you dive on its own, the robot just faceplants. You can also use the smash at the peak of a jump to bar…2 found this helpful
Very fun and cozy experience. Can only recommend2 found this helpful
Very laid-back platformer where you can jump around and explore at your own place. The game really shines once you can start taking advantage of slopes and see how far you can jump when you've built up momentum. It's super satisfying. I appreciate how forgiving it is with its little ledge hops. There's definitely some challenging sections but they're optional and you can always opt for a more any% experience.1 found this helpful
awesome speed platformer with heavy emphasis on momentum. i spent a lot of time trying to get all the hidden pinwheels, but after that i just boot it up every once in awhile trying to find new skips and tightening my playthrough performance. lot of attention to level design with just enough going on that you can maybe find an exploit here and there. you definitely get a lot out of it if you put more in. i'm not usually huge on challenge platformers but this one's easy to spend a lot of time in if you're just trying to speedrun a roller coaster experience as fast as possible. but with your first few playthroughs i recommend having multiplayer on and exploring for pinwheels. also, i played using the cat language. :3 nyaa. current pb is something like 14:57.1 found this helpful
