About A House Inside Me
What is a home?
The safest place — or at least, that is what it is for Camila…
In this psychological horror and interactive narrative experience, you play as Camila, a child wandering through a house shaped by memories, cracks, and scars that are not always visible.
The story unfolds through exploration, symbolism, and environmental narrative, inviting the player to interpret events and piece together a fragmented truth.
Nothing is shown directly.
Everything is felt.
This project was born from the desire to explore psychological horror from an emotional perspective.
This experience seeks reflection — not shock value.
⊙ Narrative-focused walking simulator
⊙ Symbolic and environmental storytelling
⊙ Unsettling and oppressive atmosphere
⊙ 3 different endings with multiple interpretations
⊙ Minimalist and disturbing visual style
⊙ Psychological horror centered on emotion rather than jump scares
Controls
⊙ Movement: Arrow Keys
⊙ Interact: Z
⊙ Cancel Action: X ⊙ Pause Menu: ESC

Playing this was an intense experience that I really enjoyed. The sound design was full and anxiety inducing, it really grounds you in the experience. The art and visuals are dreamlike and incredibly beautiful. The art is layered and full, I could look at it for a good long while and just enjoy all the details and textures. This game as a whole evokes strong emotions and therefore the trigger warnings in the beginning are nice and clear and appreciated. Overall a great experience, a beautiful art installation, I would highly recommend.2 found this helpful
Many artists handle this subject clumsily. This title does not.1 found this helpful
Oh... oh it's heavy....1 found this helpful
I have no words. I really recommend this, every sentence spoken will make your heart hurt, your eyes water up, I don't really have much more to say because I'm just unable to form the right words to explain what I'm feeling. Really well made.1 found this helpful
From an artistic point of view, the game is beautiful. However, this is meant to be a game... and as a game, it is slow, uninteresting, boring, it lacks a plot, the scary elements are nothing but subtext, and the endings amount to "fade to black".
