THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE: A Psychological Horror Choose Your Own Adventure game with ten endings.
You will take on the role of Roger; an elderly widower returning home from an afternoon of errands; only to discover his locks have been changed, and someone else is living in his house.
Take Your House Back, or let the intruder keep it and find another way to survive without your most basic need, SHELTER.
The game is a Choose Your Own Adventure Visual Novel where you will make a series of branching choices which will lead to one of ten unique endings.
On repeat playthroughs you will have the option to Skip any part of the story you've already been through and be taken immediately to the next choice in the story. Making it more convenient to do multiple playthroughs and find all the endings.
Pressing the "V" button in-game activates a Screen Reader which will tell you what button your cursor is hovering over, as well as reading in-game dialogue, narration, and choice buttons to you.

Story is bland, there's little to no horror, lasts less than 10 minutes per ending. Was expecting something more engaging that would make me feel unease but everything about this is very straight forward. Sound and art is great, wasted potential overall. This was waaay better than I expected, and I had good expectations! Half an hour to all ten or so endings, some really good and creative. A bit of a cautionary tale (exaggerated ofc) on the fragility of most things society and personal frugality? I don't know, I just know Roger. Good lad.
Odd yet cool creative project.
[h1] This Is Roger's House [/h1] I just got all achievements and saw all endings tonight, and damn... this game is cheap as hell but the quality was wayyy better than many full-price games out there? My favorite ending is ARSONIST. I'm proud of you, Roger the Old Man! Glad he wasn't the crazy one, but just the smart one dealing with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. He literally won his peace by himself, no cops needed... just him vs that psycho homeowner, and he handled it. The whole game has the sharp weirdness, tension, dark vibe, humor, and every ending feels like a different flavor of short horror films. It's that short and definitely easy to see all the unique endings, thanks to the super user-friendly load / save feature. If you like cheap games that suddenly slap you with quality, this one's worth it. ......and man, I hope Roger got his chicken back. He seemed really into it. I like chicken too. cheers ;)
