A Potion for Chamomile is a short, charming LGBT+ visual novel that players praise for its adorable art, cute characters, and lighthearted humor that delivers consistent smiles. The game's brevity is seen as a strength, preventing the cuteness from becoming overwhelming, and the extra post-game scenes provide nice character closure. However, players note that character development is shallow and the story itself is fairly simple and straightforward, with protagonists that feel somewhat generic despite remaining likeable.
A potion for Chamomile is a very short LGBT+ friendly visual novel. It follows a local potion brewer, that is on a journey with her customer, to collect all of the ingredients for special brew. The story itself is simple and to the point. Characters exposition is lacking and is missing the depth. Most of them, seem to be cookie cutter type of protagonist, however I still found this game enjoyable. The humour, that is intertwined in the events is enjoyable. Something that might cause few chuckles or smiles. It’s dripping with the cuteness, so if you look for another “Strawberry vinegar” alike, then it might be worth a buck. I feel that, the fact that this VN is short is advantage for it, because the cuteness doesn’t become “too much”, like I complained about with “Strawberry vinegar”. The art style like the most of the story is simplistic, but cute and at points charming. It’s one of the most enjoyable parts of the VN. It’s very basic, but taking into consideration that it’s very cheap game and that, it was developed by basically one person, I can appreciate it. What caught my attention the most is the background music, which was very well made and fitted to the story. Some …2 found this helpful
Fun and adorable
This is a short but very sweet visual novel about two witches on a journey of self-discovery and relationships. It is a story of friendship, love, and sacrifice. It stars a cast of cute characters with nice art. The extras that take place after the main story add a little closure to the story of the characters and help flesh out the world. My time to fully complete this game is about 90 minutes, including the arcade game. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this game, and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a fun adorable read.2 found this helpful
As someone with an invisible illness who likes cute trans girls, I wholeheartedly endorse this adorable little story! I was disappointed with the ending until I discovered there are 5 extra scenes which are just delightful in their own ways. It took me 50 minutes to complete the story & extra scenes, but there's also a minigame to play for achievements.1 found this helpful

This game is adorable and I'm weirdly intrigued by the worldbuilding.1 found this helpful
Cute visual novel about two girls (one grumpy, one sunshine) going on an adventure together, seeking some important potion ingredients. This game is short enough to enjoy the story and its extra cutscenes in one sitting. I appreciate the LGTBQ and chronic pain representation, and the music is great, too!
