About Witch You Want
✨ URGENTLY HIRING!! ✨
in need of assistant!!!
With a rather sparkly magical paper, you look over the job listing for a local witch needing an assistant with making potions before the town festival that weekend. Something so short notice would surely be hard for her to find workers, and you just happen to be in between jobs—so you sign up, unsure exactly what to expect......A pompous and questionably excellent witch runs a local apothecary in town but finds that if she wants to make enough potions before the festival that weekend to sell (and keep her ongoing potion shop afloat) she'll need some assistance. After a dubious help wanted ad, she gains you as an assistant. Will the two of you see through to the festival? Will you be able to make a single potion? Will this girlfailure capture your heart?!Features:
- Character creator to make your female MC
- Potion making minigame
- A cute yuri visual novel with a variety of ways for the events to happen
- A really gay witch to possibly romance

Extremely straightforward with a cute art style and charming music - I got kinda frustrated towards the end with the potion hints though once they started to become extremely subjective/cryptic (e.g. "something that smells good" and "something that comes from the ground") although that's slightly remedied by the handbook that tell you what the ingredients do. Overall though, there's nothing to really complain about? It's a short little game and pretty fun! And it's free. That certainly helps.
This was a very cute way to spend twenty minutes - no calorie fluff that will make you smile even as you map out the plot within the first few sentences of the script. And considering the fact that it was done for a game jam, that's all it needs to be.
Imagine the thumbs up as a to-the side thumb. Super cute! Love the art style and premise of the game. The character creator is limited, but it's a short game, so that's to be expected! I think the story falls a bit flat, though. Not much is really explained upon and the romance doesn't feel that natural to me. It was still fun to play, but I often felt a bit confused on if I did things right, since you don't get to see your potions. Despite that, though, I did feel awful purposely getting the bad end. I just destroyed this poor woman's whole livelihood for an achievement. Whoops.
It's a sweet little game. I liked it, despite definitely not being within the target audience at all (I'm a gay dude) lmao
The writing is weak, the gameplay is frustrating, it sucks. I would like my 20 minutes back. Please hire real writer in future. I played whole game in less than hour. Very bad, not worth it.
It's cute and short but kinda depressing to play through the failure route. :(
