I enjoyed "his bet, her loss".. but this game I just couldn't finish, didn't like any of the characters and the whole thing is just full of small talk which never really goes anywhere. It's definitely missing the teasing, seductive element, just basically forced intimacy. The characters aren't as sexy and animations also weren't as good as their other title.3 found this helpful
A Promise Best Left Unkept - Aya Edition
[b]
Game Introduction
1.Game Story Synopsis:The male protagonist and his girlfriend originally worked at the same company, working hard together for their future. Besides the male and female protagonists from the previous work, there was also a junior colleague named "Aya" who was in love with the protagonist. Just after making a major breakthrough at work, a gangster named "Luca," who had bullied the protagonist during his school days, joined the company and began to covet the protagonist's girlfriend.
Gameplay
This game is a spin-off of the original, continuing the multi-perspective narrative approach while innovating and improving upon its predecessor. The most obvious change is the replacement of Lara with Aya as the protagonist, with more detailed and refined background and character development. Notably, this game is not directly related to its predecessor; rather, it features an independent storyline, cleverly designed so that even players unfamiliar with the original can easily pick it up. A full version is available, including three different endings. Player choices influence the outcome, especially…1 found this helpful
First of all, why are there no warnings on either the game's Steam page or in the game itself about suicide or snuff content?! WTF? Short synopsis: The game shows Aya at her absolute worst, spiraling into violence, madness, and reckless sexual behavior. She lets her childhood trauma consume her from within, thanks to Luca, of course. With each passing scene, Harry is treated worse and worse. Aya projects many of her mental instabilities onto Harry. There are no happy endings in the game—only Aya becoming completely corrupted by Luca. Beware: there are some spoilers below, but I tried to keep them to a minimum. I still recommend reading this, especially if you played the previous game and love Aya. Everything written here comes from the perspective of someone who played APBLU 1, which, to me, is a full-fledged visual novel with NTR elements. I played Aya Edition when version 1.0 was released. I've been waiting for it ever since I heard about the early access version. The base game with Laura and Aya is, in my opinion, superb. Not perfect, but still a great story with multiple endings—both bad, which made sense considering the NTR theme, and good. You could help Harry pull himself…
For a while I was really engaged in the story. Right to the point where it switches to Aya as the gf and once the NTR starts with her. There is just one scene in a hotel lobby that really annoyed me. I don't have anything against NTR, don't care. But if the story gets bad, I am out. MC stays dumb for too long. He really is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blind to a point where it becomes annoying. I read only from his pov, so I don't know how Aya got mixed up with the bad guy (although I have my doubts that the reason is really good enough, judging by how it was with his first gf) but after MC behaved like a complete moron I just couldn't bother anymore. At least make him somewhat competent. I would like to give it a neutral opinion. I enjoyed the time I had with it but I'll never finish it, unless I just start skipping. So can't really recommend that, can I?
YES
I absolutely loving it !!! Except Harry...
