About AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity
✦ AI summary
BASE jump through a surreal floating city, pulling off death-defying stunts while managing crowd reactions and judge scores in real-time. Create your own aerial tricks by interacting with the environment—from hugging girders to taunting protesters—in this reflex-driven score chaser with 80 levels of escalating chaos.
Looking for the Oculus Rift version? Wan't to BASE jump on Mac or Linux? Pick up Aaaaa! for the Awesome.
BASE jump through a floating city, creating your own stunts to delight your fans.
You dive off a skyscraper, relying on quick reflexes to negotiate the intricate tangle of girders that make up the floating city. All eyes are on you as the judges mark your score. One hundred points for hugging those exposed struts as you fall. A thousand for planting a kiss on the side of that building. Twisting and turning, you thread the needle between two billboards, earning cheers from your fans.
But while reflexes are important, it's quick thinking that gets you the win. One block away, you spot a crowd of protesters decrying your sport, and make a split second decision. You break off course, stare them straight in the eye, and flip them the finger. They explode into a burst of fury, but the judges absolutely love it, bumping you up to first place. Now all you have to do is to make that landing without ending up a loose sack of broken bones.

the new version is called "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome" exactly, in case you read the other review and looked for a game still called "a reckless disregard for gravity" and couldn't find it4 found this helpful
As with the later games with more AAAAAAAAAAA in the title it is good in small portions.1 found this helpful
Yep. Jam-packed with style that's so much fun and I believe that such creativity should be awarded praise and acknowledgement. But no. Too expensive at full price (It's an old game now and gameplay is just dodging stuff because that's the type of game it is), and there's apparently a new version of this game out, so if you want a falling simulator, check that out too. Doesn't really hold up in 2026, I've been told the updated "AaAaAA!!! For the Awesome" is better.
Yay:
+ Very engaging, unique gameplay not found elsewhere + Unique Art Style, at least for the time it came out in. + Menu is charming... + …as is the presentation. + Nostalgic + Significantly less frustrating to platinum than the “For the Awesome” Expanded re-release + I remember enjoying the humour present within.
Meh:
~ Nothing I'm remembering
Nay:
- Also nothing that I can recall.

Verdict:
This is a very good case for why remasters are not always better than their source material, as not only was I able to enjoy this unique gem much more than the second version, I rediscovered why it was loved to begin with.
