Abominable Asteroids

Abominable Asteroids is a small arcade game where you have to survive against waves of asteroids while trying to get the highest score possible. The gameplay is simple, but it focuses on quick reactions and trying to stay alive for as long as you can. The main strength is how easy it is to pick up. You can start playing almost immediately without having to learn complicated controls or systems. You mainly have to move around, avoid the asteroids and shoot when you need to. The arcade style works well because each run gives you a chance to try and beat your previous score. Even when you lose, you can quickly start another game and try to do better. The action can become quite hectic as more asteroids appear. You have to keep watching the screen and react quickly when there are objects coming towards you from different directions. The presentation is simple and fits the old school arcade feeling. It does not try to be a huge modern game and instead focuses on the basic gameplay. The biggest problem is the lack of variety.
