✦ AI summary

Players praise this retro Asteroids-style shooter for its fun gameplay, excellent sound design that captures 8-bit nostalgia, fully rebindable controls, local multiplayer support for up to 4 players, and outstanding value at its low price point. The main criticism is that the AI opponents are somewhat rudimentary and don't pose much challenge, and some players suggest adding progression systems like leveling or unlockable weapons to provide longer-term goals beyond chasing high scores.

How this game sits here on Steam more than a year after it launched with not a single purchased review blows my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3J9yqXb1fo ..It's a super fun, very well coded retro Asteroids blaster! It offers multiple game modes as well as the ability to play up to 4 local players in a battle mode! Awesome sauce! Controls are also 100% re-bindable and the Steam high scores are integrated right into the game! My Score: 95% because of the amazing value this game offers for the small price tag! ..If you buy this game and enjoy it, please please please be sure and leave this indie developer a review! - Just sayin'! Highly Recommended... unless you are expecting this to be Call of Duty.. then well, yeah. =)

Fridge my boi! Your steamy game is delightfully addictive. Sound design is incredible and brings me right back to those nostalgic 8-bit days of old. You've made firing the laser a delight because of this. I also love the way the recoil also makes the laser feel a bit like a shotgun, as each shot heads a slightly different direction than the previous (removes an irritating precision-shot style of gameplay that would otherwise require the player to fine-tune their aim). A couple of notes you can put aside for future plans... - A leveling-up system in-game, always on-screen to give a sense of achievement. Unlike (but not replacing) the scoring system, this shouldn't be reset after every game and should be fairly difficult to advance - a bit of a bragging factor. Unlock new items and weapons with this as you rank up. - Powerups, I'll leave you to get creative with those. - Collect occasional rare ore/resources during gameplay to spend on skins, increase traits (speed, shield, weapon recharge, etc.) and increase the likeliehood of power-up spawns. - Have an array of secondary weapons that you can only equip once after every game, not a one-use but consider limited ammunition for se…

Recommended at $2. Has a two-player at the same keyboard capability as well as rudimentary AI (even at hard, these aren't that great at staying alive against the asteroids that orbit the star). It is fun to play against other players, quite difficult to get a positive score.
