Above Snakes

I was originally going to recommend it since it's a pretty fun game with a spin on the survival genre (you create the areas you explore) but I really cannot. The mineral spawn points get bugged too often, specifically iron ones, which makes getting certain maps a chore and then there's the biggest bug of them all, the game will start on a white screen showing game tips and load you into a day 1, fully desolate world. Reinstalling does not fix it, sometimes, after many restarts it'll work normally but I've restarted 5 times in a row and keep getting this weird empty world, which means I cannot continue playing the game. Edit to add: after around 10 resets it finally worked, pushed through the rest of the story as fast as possible and finished it, still wouldn't recommend with these bugs.

I wanted this game to be a good one, so bear with me when I write my thoughts down. - If you expect any kind of help in terms of how to finish a quest or get there. There will be near none. You will be stuck at points, confused why you can't get further. Just to find out online you need certain material to upgrade weapons/tools to get further. - Fishing is hard -> mostly because it takes multiple days till you can fish at the same spot again. At least ten days waiting, if you don't safe and get out of the game and restart it. - modding not over Steam at least, so if you want to get the days go faster, good luck. Only way so far is the water collecting trick. - Story -> here and there nice made, but somehow something felt lacking. So many characters could have given us more interactions and Story parts... But that fell off. - Bounty Hunter -> takes ages to full fill if you want to collect all of it. - Books -> could have been perfectly used to give us tips. To maybe make a proper cooking book that we look rezepies up in. Or on where to find which material. Nope, just collect it for an achievement and sell them. - Lags? -> I will call them that for now, if someone has a bet…

Im sorry but it is just boring :(

what a disappointment. I mean, you could see it by a mile away bc of the steam rating with >75%, usually games that are below 88% are for the most part either bad or something drastic happened and they are now bad, but this game is simply bad, the story is ♥♥♥♥, the mechanics and movement feel weird, and for the most part there is no point to half of the mechanics, the economy in game makes no sense and the game sometimes makes the correct option feel wrong, i had hopes for an isometric survival game in which you make your own tile maps, that part is actually pretty nice, but the game has major drawbacks in gameplay mechanics, game feeling, story and overall experience and balance, at first it's new and seems nice but the longer you play the more ridiculous it seems, do not buy it for more than 2 eur
