The Story
---------------------
On May 5, 1961, America launched its first astronaut into space, following the Soviet Union's earlier achievements. This mission was known as Freedom 7, also referred to as Mercury-Redstone 3.
Unfortunately, the mission failed because the spaceship was unable to navigate the hazards on Mercury's surface.
60 years later, on the same day in 2021, NASA finally invented a sophisticated vehicle called Acrobatic Car, so the mission has continued.
7 adventurous clowns, willing to leave Earth, were sent to Mercury to claim the Redstone and bring it back. They sought to prove their heroism and show that they were more than just "nothing but clowns".
The 7 clowns were professional and trained enough for the mission, but once they landed, they realised they were not the only ones going for the Redstone, another clown named SkilledBird was seeking it too.
He was so skilled that his abilities had never been seen before. Rumours say that he is an alien from another planet, others say that he was a champion in the world of Elasto Mania but came to this world for an unknown reason.
Whatever the truth is, they have to beat him, be faster than him to get to the Redstone before he does.

✦ AI summary
Players acknowledge this physics-based driving game has some fun and challenging gameplay with a decent tutorial and map editor, but complain about placeholder graphics, poor controller support, awkward UI decisions, and questionable developer professionalism. Opinions are split between those finding it an acceptable casual experience and others feeling it underperforms even basic standards for indie games.
I guess before we get into it, I think it's worth pointing out that this game was quite possibly at some point part of a scam or something shady. More on that later... games must first be reviewed at face value. Then we can have fun with conspiracy theories. "ACROBATIC CAR" is a mobile app tier 2D "physics driving" game, and I gotta say, as a game developer if you underperform Unity asset pack game templates, you're not delivering anything of value to gamers. Seems harsh, but here's an asset pack that's better than this entire game: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/2d-racing-game-76989 The graphics aren't great, basic 2D placeholder graphics at best. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. So this isn't a game with any value for gamers, that's not surprising. Most games on Steam aren't very good... Steam Direct ushered in a tsunami of self-published garbage. But it als…5 found this helpful
Is alright, like a flash game. If you've played the Trials series, the rotation is similar to the Trials Rising mini-bike.. or was it Trials Fusion? The awkward one that spins too fast. The game did not detect my Dualshock so maybe keyboard-only. The challenges are that it teaches a concept, then gives a level or two to practice before hitting you with an expert-level obstacle. An extra level of toggling the alternatinting death lasers on and off in quick succession while NOT also flying would have been beneficial. Clicking Load Level opens a Windows dialog box behind the app so it feels like crashing, and when someone demanded alternate controls, the developer recommended they use 3rd-party software. Their name has "Skilled" in it but I wonder if they even wrote the game, or had Ai do it, as they don't even know how to add support for other keys. The game's description is "Physics-based driving platformer inspired by the classic Elma", which sounds like a prompt. While the graphics all look hand-drawn, the title image (and dev's Avatar) looks very Ai-Generated. It's not even the same car that you're driving.
This a really good game, but still not the best you to make a a little bit of changes about the font and the losing screen menu and sound it's so annoying after all, Worth a Try.
