<-- Review written for 3 Point Play -->
Honestly, when it comes to small games like this, I'm always worried there might not be too much to say about them. In AdaptaTank's case, I actually enjoyed it, so I'll say a few things about it. For starters, what you see in this here Store Page, is what you will get. So expect some top-down shooting, some little tanks, and that amazing "Made in Unity" screen right as you boot up the game. All in all, it ain't a bad game. But it is, however, a low-budget one. I'm always amazed at how do these games get accepted into Steam, or what do their devs expect when it comes to submitting them into the the Store; I also wonder, who does actually buy these? You drive a tiny tank around, collect upgrades, and solve mini puzzles, which mostly consist of picking up blocks and placing them on switches. It's easy, it's simple, and you can play it casually while binge-watching Netflix. In short, the game won't captivate you and make you want to play it again and again but for $3 you might as well try it out. For a more in-depth review, keep reading: The gameplay is repetitive and simplistic with each Chapter introducing new enemies (adding some extra colors and shooting a few extra missiles) and progressing the story with a boss battle. The story isn't anything special and I never cared about the characters but it at least helps move the game forward. The game difficulty is not challenging and I defeated the first boss while barely even moving from the same spot. I would have liked to see some new mechanics introduced to make things more interesting. The power-ups are the highlight of the game and are fun to experiment with. I enjoyed being able to choose a permanent buff from my abilities and there is a variety…
