I really wanted to like this game but it is just frustrating. "Story Rich" is inaccurate as you're given a very thin reason for what you're doing to begin with. Which would have been fine if not for the rest of the experience. The controls are mildly frustrating. They're pretty standard up, down, turn flight controls with the inverted up and down. That's fine, except they seem slow and there is only ONE speed the entire time, which gets to feel slow as you're traversing pretty big maps. You cannot control the camera which makes turning a pain when you're never sure what you're going to run into, and you essentially get one life as every time you run into something you're instantly teleported back to the starting point on that particular map. The gameplay boils down to a collect-a-thon, which again would be fine, if the controls were not so frustrating. Plus, given that you bump into something and go right back to start, you could completely lose where you were on the map and have to locate the feather you were collecting all over again. I don't know how people find this relaxing. If there were camera movement and a more forgiving "life" system (maybe allow three bumps before tel…2 found this helpful
These Aery games had the potential to be so much better than they are. I so badly wanted to like them, but they really aren't good. Many issues still exist from the first game, although some have been fixed. All of my relevant complaints from the first game still stand here, but I will add that this game is really just roam around a map (and by roam around I mean just point your bird in a direction and take your hands off the keyboard until your bird reaches the destination) for far too long, collecting feathers that have no meaning to you with no game audio present.1 found this helpful
Aery - Sky Castle, is a nice relaxing game with pretty easy objectives flying around and discovering new levels to explore. (Price is a little high for what the game offers though)
Hi I just wanted to say a few things about this game First of all the achievements dont work Second of all the game play is rly repetitive a gets old fast and to add to that the controls feel out of place for this type of game If you dont hunt achievments or you play with long breaks its not half bad But for me personally it was not that great Ps: its enough i had to cheat the achievments in I rly dont like game that force me to do it bc the achievments are broken (after 100% twice)
This game is very relaxing (except those few times you have to navigate tight spaces). Don't have to beat the clock, and nobody/nothing is trying to kill your avatar. I did need the walkthrough a couple times: I likely would have stumbled on those missing markers but only after extensive searching. The background music was entertaining by itself, and added enjoyment to the game. I'm not a hard-core gamer, in fact I'm not any kind of gamer. If that describes you too, then this is your kind of game!
