Afterlight Catacombs is a challenging and dark ambiance game. The game levels change every time and keep you guessing as to what's next and how to beat that level! The game is harder than it looks, but a lot of fun!

Super scary! The sound design and atmosphere are fantastic. Have reached level 3... definitely keep your finger on the sprint button to run from the creature. Excellent vibes... had my heart racing, super well done horror game.

Afterlight catacombs has a great atmosphere and cryptic lore. The game consists of 5 levels in which you search through a randomly generated set of rooms for a lever to unlock the next level. Each level gets bigger than the previous one but I had no issues finding my way around, however if you are directionally challenged there are items in the game to help, mainly chalk to mark your way! The real goal is to keep your torch lit for a freak lurks in the shadows, you'll find oil around the map to help as well as bandages in case you get smacked! My only complaint is I wish it was longer or that unlocking the next level was a bit more challenging, perhaps some puzzles to unlock the lever? Judging from the achievements there is a secret to find and there's a few items to collect so it does have some replayability! Charming retro fantasy horror game, with an interesting gameplay loop and strong atmosphere! Recommended to those that would enjoy the fantasy of delving into an ancient tomb, but instead of being the hero who vanquishes evil, you are hunted down reletlessly by a terrible creature, you can't fight it, you can survive it. You can see there's lore hidden away, the achievments help you piece it together and there are interesting notes to be found. Very cool game, recommended 100%
