I am very disappointed. I really liked the game, but I found out the hard way that it is no longer being maintained and is fundamentally broken. Some ARG parts of the game, where you use websites outside of the game to gain information, are broken. For example, I was stuck for hours searching for information to piece together a password for a hidden section. Turns out I actually had it right on the first try but the website is simply broken and won't accept any password anymore. There are multiple pieces of ARG infrastructure that are not maintained anymore and do not work, ruining the experience and also locking you out of essential information that you cannot get elsewhere without cheating. I understand that the game is 10 years old and probably doesn't get a firestorm worth of traffic. However if the maintenance to keep your game in a playable state is just not worth it (which is understandable), you SHOULD NOT BE SELLING the game anymore. You basically scammed me out of money by knowingly selling me a broken game and wasted hours of my time while I was engaging in good faith. And worst of all, I can't get a refund because I have discovered this problem after more than 2 hou…

While the research aspect of the game was certainly fun and interesting, several websites that contain necessary clues for puzzles are no longer accessible, making it impossible to 100% the game without either looking up answers or watching someone else's playthrough in order to view these websites. This is quite disappointing since I did enjoy myself otherwise. If these website issues were fixed so the game would still be fully playable today I'd recommend it for anyone who likes investigation and diving into obscure topics on Wikipedia, but as-is I don't think it's worth playing at this point.

I Liked it. Nice slow vibe game that you can chill to with a coffee and some music.

It's a decent game if you like esoteric trivia and doing research like an online detective. The game loop is couched in a nice Black Watchmen-like wrapper to give it a bit of theme and if you enjoy any of that, this game is likely for you.
