Doesn't work

this game would be neat, we desperately need a standalone alternative to Voyage and AI dungeon and their price gouging. But the UI is TERRIBLE. it needs major fixes if its ever going to be up to the same quality as aidungeon. LET ALONE voyage.

The Server is off restart the server. Yea I tried for about 2 hours. I typically like these "games" but this was a giant pain in the neck. At the end of the day, I don't know enough to do this manually, I get this is basically an app or front for playing with an AI storyteller, but I just can't get things to work. This was the base install without anything messed with all default. So coming back after the Dev informs that the issue listed is fixed. I still have issues but the whole idea of what this is, is good. I couldn't get it to work for me but if you can for you its worth the time and effort.

I tried playing this game for 30 minutes after getting a key for the game from the publisher via keymailer and i cannot even figure out how to make this game run. this game looked like such a fun time, but there is no real explination of how to make things work, what everything does, and how to solve problems when you cant get the game to run. Had to contact publisher from their website that i could not continue to do content for the game despite my agreement on keymailer because i cannot figure out how to make this game function the way it needs to

Honestly, I think this game could have potential. The idea is there, but the execution definitely could do with some tweaking. Firstly, a tutorial would be great to help with better understanding the AI, character stats, etc. That being said, it is fun, and I think it would make a fun little edition to a D&D game if you wanted to try something different. So, overall, if I could give this game a neutral, I would. But, seeing as I can't, I will give it a positive as I think with some tweaking it could be a much better game. First off, I love the idea of this. I really do. It's a new take on the choose-your-own-ending books I used to read as a kid, but with the major difference being that it's a different experience each time. It is still new, so the AI interaction still needs some training, and I imagine there will be more ai options and stories over time. The AI seemed hell bent of making us to most of the story writing, which seems a little counter productive, you'd figure your prompts wouild encourage the next section of story, though it often seemed like the story only moved forward if we moved it forward. Again, that's likely just AI training and the more we play, the better it will respond. GREAT idea, turning into a great game, and I would recommend. (PS: An untrained AI writes some HILARIOUS stuff though... just sayin'!)
