About Alchemist Adventure

Explore the devastated lands and uncover hidden secrets. Your journey will take you through four regions filled with quests, puzzles, enemies of all kinds and bits of lore that will help you to unlock the secrets of a seemingly forsaken region. You play as Mya, a young and talented alchemist who is eager to find and save her daughter and husband. While playing, you will learn more about this strange land, your memories of it, and the disturbing connection between Isur and your own story.

Alchemist Adventure is a game that encourages you to experiment, think, and search for new things throughout your journey. There are no strict alchemical recipes, so you will be able to make your own unique potions and explore the possibilities of the rich alchemy system. As you progress, the challenge increases, and the number of save points decreases — and with no auto save, you will need to be careful, think ahead, equip yourself with the right potions for the job, and most importantly….watch your step!

Create potions

Use the four basic elements (fire, water, air, earth) along with special ingredients to create bombs, elixirs, and sword oils. There’s a potion for every task, and you can craft your own unique recipes!

Transform the world around you

Solve alchemical puzzles

Combine elements to open chests, make paths, or find hidden objects.

Elemental monsters await

Use elements to discover enemies’ weaknesses and try different strategies to defeat them.

Switch between characters or play co-op

https://youtu.be/zGR7a7aoPqU Heavy menu focus to craft potions with a reliance on collecting numerous limited ingredients greatly pulls down the pacing.

Fun action and puzzle game.

Alchemist Adventure is a perfectly fine puzzle-adventure game that really shines in its core mechanic: free-form alchemy. I loved that there were no predefined recipes; just tossing elements together to see what potion, bomb, or oil I would create was genuinely engaging and satisfying. The game ran flawlessly on my Steam Deck OLED Handheld PC, even when the game is installed on a Micro SD card. It's a great title for handheld play, with controls that feel natural and a pace that suits short bursts. For me, the puzzles were just okay. They get the job done and often put your alchemy skills to use, but they didn't really wow me. This is actually why I didn't end up finishing the game—it was a pleasant experience, but didn't quite have the hook to pull me all the way through. Final Verdict: A solid "like," not a "love." If you're craving a chill game with a unique crafting system that plays beautifully on the Steam Deck, it's worth a look. Just know that the puzzle design might not be groundbreaking.

at first, i thought the man (blonde or white hair) in image previews would be a companion, unsure why i thought that at time i got the game but i did, but that turned out otherwise, and its okay. regardless, i almost hate this game, so frustrating and almost obnoxious. every step needs every other element you have, and only two slots that able to throw from, and keep on switching elements, it can't just let it be making this rock go down with "mud" element and just proceed through, have to also make rock go up with "earth" element, stop gaseous miasma with wind element and so on right after the other, and that's only in two slots! and one is needed for attack in case enemies come. or that dragon enemy boss, switching to different element after every death and having to throw at it before it finishes its dragon breath with oppositional element. i quit after i died and got transported to last camp before that biolab entrance, ringing that bell spawns every annoying enemy in game so far. all this killed my enjoyment and more, not even just normal puzzles, but have to make it a hassle. what i liked or was okay with though is: - a good story (so far, maybe typical in some bits but i …

Maybe it gets good. Maybe sometime down the line all the crap I collect is worth it to use and I can get out of the menus and tutorial dumps. But I didn't make it there. I only made it as far tutorials and a collectathon of materials that you randomly pick up and can add in to your list of crap to just make stuff happen I guess. It's boring and spends way too much time in full screen tutorials of words explaining mechanics you won't interact with for hours.
