Alexander the Great: Secrets of Power

Again with no Mini-Game descriptions? I get that most people who come play these are already familiar with what they are supposed to do... But even someone like myself was confused about a puzzle or two. This is where you "click around and freaking figure it out". Great for nowadays people with no patience. Even if we move past that point, this game is hella laggy. The menu is laggy. Going from place to place is laggy. And I swear... One time... I clicked more than 20x to just go back a scene!!! Sigh. I will also dock you for using incorrect item descriptions at times. That shouldn't be a case with a game that's build *mostly* on H.O. scenes!!! Story: Well, the Legend is great, but the actual story with the character you play? My goodness. All the characters are idiotic or useless or both. Oscar is useless. Those two "other ones" are useless and morons to high hell. The Main Character... Talks a lot and says things that I can figure out for myself!!! And the ending... Okay, I just can't anymore. The game didn't crash, so I kept playing it... And I did like "going into the past" and that the puzzles weren't overly complicated... WHEN I could figure out wth I…

Considering that this is a modern game, it is not optimized at all for high resolution monitors. The game is very bad compared to other games in the genre. You can click on the correct items multiple times without it trigerring them, because their hitbox not matching the items.... On top of that they are wrongly naming items you need to find. Happens multiple times. Example a sucofocus and a pharaoh aren't the same thing. Like saying a king and a grave is the same thing..... Also really disliked the MC, talking to us like we are kids... Avoid this one, there are much better games in the genre.

Secrets of Power is an ambitious, globe-trotting adventure that touches upon multiple ancient civilizations that were affected by Alexander the Great's conquests. We have a male player character in a race against other scions (descendants) of Alexander to acquire the magical artifacts that were the real reason Alexander was so effective at warfare. Damn, we're kinda undercutting the man's legacy with that one. The first thing I noticed about this game was the main character's voice actor sounding like he was a character on Family Guy. His voice work sounds a bit goofy, but I appreciated the emotion and enthusiasm he had at the right moments in the story. The other characters' voice actors were decent to downright awful. The script has an odd aversion to contractions, making the dialogue feel stiff for no good reason. There's not much incidental or flavor dialogue from the main character, but …

it is an easy play

it was ok. the art is nice, I wasn't so keen on the way the characters are animated. voice acting and story was.. not the best. there are a lot of hidden object scenes, and a variety of other puzzles.
