Alien Zombie Megadeath

I have no idea when or why I bought this, but it’s been sitting in my library forever. Last night I finally booted it up for the first time (despite storefront screenshots didn't attract me) and WOW, this game is TONS OF FUN! It’s simple, fast, and very arcade-style, but still surprisingly challenging and addictive. If you already own it, check it out today. If you don’t, definitely give it a try if you're into arcade games, you won't be sorry. You can always refund it if it’s not your thing anyway.

Despite the dated title and style, this game is oddly really good. Insanely good sound design, every enemy has a unique charm that most games fail to reproduce. I'd highly recommend using a controller, otherwise the game feels great to control. Pretty damn repayable and lots of tough optional challenges. Highly recommend you try it out, wish this dev continued to make games as there is a lot of potential here.

Pretty simple arcade platformer where you blow up a bunch of alien zombie things. Fun for a bit.

Typical 2011 bullet storm game except this one makes you cry for a decade as you slowly beat your head against it until you 100% it, while it's possible to beat this without 100% it obviously...the challenge to do that task is insane and i think it should be better balanced in that regard. The decoy gameplay mechanic isn't utilized as much as I liked, and the escort levels were just annoying. I didn't really enjoy how if you got a powerup and you got hit it would remove the powerup. Glad to never have to play this game again.

Game is really simple. Shoot things. Don't get hit. Get a high score. I used my keyboard. WASD for movement. Keypad 789 for shooting left, grabbing, and shooting right. Be aware that spacebar is pause. You can change the up movement key to spacebar, but you'll have to use the UP arrow key to move through the menus. I tried the controller, but I found it more comfortable to use the keyboard.

Looking at a printscreen, this could give you shovelware vibes. But it's a good arcade shooter! Enemy spawn can be a little unforgiven, killing you instantly because you were at the wrong place, but it's manageable most of the time!
