About Alone

The Sun Falls Behind the Horizon.

You are the only survivor of a tragic plane crash into the extremely cold Siberian wilderness in 1983, Soviet Union. Soon after you have fled the crash site it hits you. You are all alone in the middle of nowhere. Now there are only two phrases in your mind: "How to stay warm?", and more importantly, "How to stay alive?".

The game Alone consists of a camp menu, where you can manage your inventory, craft, go hunting etc. and an overworld where you can collect resources for your camp and find new and interesting locations. The game is a trial and error type of game and it also has a few puzzles to solve during the story.

Will you be rescued or will you starve to death? We will see...

Cool little game, quite a different experience.

I'm not sure what everyones problem is. It's fun, short, and for the most part has a cozy pace to it. The only complaint I really have about it is the character kinda waddles sometimes. Also the random encounters sometimes are too random and can kill you. I bought it for a dollar. It's money reasonably spent.

This game is a lot more than meets the eye. It seems like a simple pixel game, but I really enjoyed how it told a survival story and how well it balanced its survival elements. The graphics can be a little difficult sometimes, but the actual survival aspect is well done and quite enjoyable. Read my full review here: https://www.janneke.photos/review_alone

Alone, developed and published by Killed Pixel Games, is a minimalist survival adventure that places players in the harsh, frozen wilderness of Siberia during the early 1980s. The premise is stark and immediate: after surviving a devastating plane crash, you find yourself stranded in one of the most unforgiving environments on Earth. There is no rescue team on the horizon, no clear guidance, and no comforting exposition. Instead, the game drops you into isolation and demands that you learn how to endure. From its opening moments, Alone establishes a tone defined by solitude, vulnerability, and the constant pressure of survival against nature’s indifference. Visually, the game embraces a restrained pixel art style that reinforces its themes rather than distracting from them. The snowy landscapes are rendered in muted tones, emphasizing emptiness and cold over detail and spectacle. The simplicity of the visuals works in tandem with the narrative premise, heightening the sense of desolation. Sparse trees, abandoned structures, and your small, fragile camp contrast sharply with the vast white surroundings. This stylistic choice ensures clarity while also conveying atmosphere; the worl…
Funny, little game, very hardcore. Only one but: Too much snow (I know pixels, but this is too much) - but a good little survival game!
