Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey

Interesting survival game. But there are too many frustrating things in it. Many people complain about the lack of tutorials and the learning curve, but I find the poor AI of other primates following you to be the worse part of the game. They will just sit at the bottom of a tree waiting to get mauled by a tiger because its seems they're only capable of following you at a certain distance. The game would benefit immensely if the other primates had a little bit of self preservation in their pathing. It is too annoying to micromanage them, especially early game.

I think this is a fun game, but it has two problems that might deter most players. 1. It does a poor job explaining game mechanics which makes it confusing to new players and forces them to look up answers online. Judging by the achievements it seems 65% of players quit before leaving the starting area. 2. The game drags on for too long. Once you understand how the game works it`s a lot of fun, but by the end of it I was just happy it was over and I think most players would agree considering only 3% finished it. I would recommend buying it on sale.
