Ancient Guardian - action adventure in procedurally-generated locations. You play as father, who have to find his lost daughter, avoiding meeting dangerous enemies, bypassing traps and solving puzzles.
The game takes place in our days. While walking around the ancient city of Heraklion, the daughter of the protagonist escapes, and the troubled father goes to search her.
Procedurally-generated locations
Each of your sessions will be unique for each level:
- In the first act of the player awaits the treacherous labyrinth of the Minotaur. Each time a random level is generated with different corridors, passages and paths. In a random order, traps and key points are added.
- In the second act, an island with statues of Greek gods will appear before you. Performing their tests, you will receive powerful artifacts for the battle with Medusa. The key elements of the level are also randomly placed at each run.
Myths and legends
The basis of our game lay real myths and legends around the world. For example, in the first and second locations, we used the myths of Ancient Greece, only slightly changing them under the plot of our game.
A variety of monsters and items
At each level you are waiting for different, unlike each other monsters and objects. Minotaur, skeletons, gun, key and a lot more!
Leaderboards
Once you complete the story, you will have the opportunity to compete with other players in endless mode on highscore or on time in the story mode.

Controller input is incosistant, It worked once then never again also the peerformance of the game really bog down to unplayable levels (like 8fps) On my reasonable rig (Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB Ram, RTX 3080Ti). Its a shame because the games seem like it could be fun with its random level generation but getting killed Multiple time because i lost control of the game due to the frame rate took a dump really killed this for me.2 found this helpful
