About FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE
Join Cloud and a ragtag resistance group to stop a mega-corporation from draining the planet's life force in this hybrid blend of real-time action and strategic command-based combat. This bold remake of the 1997 classic expands the story of Midgar with modern gameplay and visuals, plus a new episode featuring ninja Yuffie Kisaragi on her own mission to steal ultimate materia from Shinra.
This critically-acclaimed game, which mixes traditional command-based combat and real-time action, makes its Steam debut along with FF7R EPISODE INTERmission─a new story arc featuring Yuffie Kisaragi.

■STORY
By exploiting mako, the life-blood of the planet, through their mako reactors, the Shinra Electric Power Company has all but seized control of the entire world. A ragtag group of idealists, known as Avalanche, are one of the last bastions of resistance.
Cloud, an elite SOLDIER operative-turned-mercenary takes part in an Avalanche operation to destroy Mako Reactor 1 in the city of Midgar.
The bombing plunges the city into fiery chaos, and Cloud is tormented by visions of a bitter enemy long thought dead.
Once more begins a story that will shape the destiny of an entire world.

FF7R is a game that grew on me- it didn't hook me immedietly like many other jrpgs have done, but gradually I grew to love it, despite of its many flaws. Let's get those out of the way..... In brief, the pacing is horrible, the game could've been 10-15 hrs shorter. I beleive many didn't even get to the great parts because the story moves so slow. And it's not even slow for the sake of more story- no, its the most unnecessary, tedious, slow walk sections, crawling and shimming through gaps, the inclusion of unnecessary, boring and mandatory minigames that grinds my gears. It's worse than the side quests and side mini games bcz atleast then I'm consciously aware of what I'm getting into, but man these filler sections in the main story just suck, they added nothing my enjoyment. Beyond this, almost everything is great- the combat is excellent, the boss fights are especially fun. The characters start kinda cringe (cuz of the way they are animated, in the classic due to low poly models this was not the case) but soon I grew to like them a lot. The story starts very slow but ramps up like crazy soon. Initially I thought Cloud would be a twink like character, but he actually aura farms…
whoever made the materia maven achievement is the devil and i hate them

So, got this on sale, and still think it was expensive... After waiting for this game about 20 years or something, I'm so dissapointed... Yes the graphics are nice, but the gameplay is extremely boring. Too much dialogue. And magic and walking around are very restricted. Much of the same, rinse wash repeat. Minigames are just meant to kill time, like what you expect from free oldschool web-based flash games, boring, repetitive. Exploring the map is tedious, crawling on low-speed through lame ass corridors to find like 3 mobs, after a 5minute walk, or nothing at all. Exp-AP-grinding doesn't really scale well. It's like this game was designed for a higher difficulty, but they nerved everything in the development process... Like yeah I can do a new-game+, but honestly, I have a library with more games, so just give us the harder difficulty option from the beginning, I'm not gonna repeat a awful experience, just to make it slightly more bearable.... If you love open-world games, with high speed combat, complex skill trees, character building, open exploration, freedom, choices, and all that, you will absolutely hate this game. If you like immersive story telling, running around i…
It's everything it promises on the box. Fantastic experience 10/10 would recommend. Not for the modern audience. No one told me their pronouns.
