■STORY
By exploiting mako, the life-blood of the planet, through their mako reactors, the Shinra Electric Power Company has all but seized control of the entire world. A ragtag group of idealists, known as Avalanche, are one of the last bastions of resistance.
Cloud, an elite SOLDIER operative-turned-mercenary takes part in an Avalanche operation to destroy Mako Reactor 1 in the city of Midgar.
The bombing plunges the city into fiery chaos, and Cloud is tormented by visions of a bitter enemy long thought dead.
Once more begins a story that will shape the destiny of an entire world.
* This game is a remake of FINAL FANTASY VII, first released in 1997.
The first title in a multi-part series, it is based on the story from the original game, up to the escape from Midgar, adding in new elements.

Pretty graphics, good optimization, nice characters, awesome voice acting (JP), awful and stupid combat system, no keyboard/mouse support and basically no plot. Music is great, but quite often have no sense for a scene. In the end it's just very overrated. Not great, not terrible.1 found this helpful

This is my first time playing Final Fantsy 7 as I never played the original. This is a pretty fun game albeit with a few caveats. It does get boring and feels like it was dragged in some parts of the story, I imagine the original game did not have this problem. But overall its a good game, worth trying out on sale.

heads need to be more square
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ materia swaping all the time, story written by 15 old school girl with ADHD, where friendship is shown by getting people off the ledges like 100X times, characters are retarded (Barrett, wtf???) and then when you get through all that ♥♥♥♥, you will get chapter 18, where you get 1 hour long moronic sequence on motorbike without possibility to do manual save, ♥♥♥♥ this game really
